The accomplishing of the goal of all things is close at hand. Therefore, keep alert and self-controlled, so that you can pray. (1 Peter 4:7)
As we witness wars, nations rising against nations, kingdoms rising against kingdoms, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and imposters of Yeshua (Matthew 24:5-7), just know that God is raising up a people who will become selfless, just as Yeshua was selfless, and not only be concerned with what is happening in their lives but will intercede for the nations. There is no better weapon than prayer to bring about the work of the Lord. It is God’s desire that no one should perish (2 Peter 3:9), so He is calling out to the nations with an invitation of salvation before He returns and renders judgment on sin and those who have chosen to attach themselves to sin.
Let’s be diligent in obedience to God’s command to pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
